I hope everyone has a great weekend!

There's Only One Thing Left To Do...
The kid is at the sitter, the cat has food & water, the dogs will be taken care of, the house is clean (relatively speaking), the bags are packed and we're ready to Rumble! So, now, there's only one thing left to do...

Williams Update
Just a quick update here. I don't have time for more, or I'll be late for work. :)
Annabelle will not be making the trip to Williams with us. Her motor is ready, but Big D won't have time to put her all back together for the trip. And we don't want a repeat of the 'Big D: Unplugged - Ride to Yuma'. ;)
Then what will we be riding, you ask? Well, that has not yet been decided. We've got a few options, some I like better than others. We'll make a decision by Wednesday. Then maybe I'll update this post. :)

The Lie Detector
John was a salesman's delight when it came to any kind of unusual gimmicks. His wife Marsha had long ago given up trying to get him to change. One day John came home with another one of his unusual purchases. It was a robot that John claimed was actually a lie detector.
It was about 5:30 that afternoon when Tommy, their 11 year old son, returned home from school. Tommy was over 2 hours late.
"Where have you been? Why are you over 2 hours late getting home?" asked John.
"Several of us went to the library to work on an extra credit project," said Tommy. The robot walked around the table and slapped Tommy, knocking him completely out of his chair.
"Son," said John, "this robot is a lie detector, now tell us where you really were after school."
"We went to Bobby's house and watched a movie." said Tommy. "What did you watch?" asked Marsha. "The Ten Commandments." answered Tommy. The robot went around to Tommy and once again slapped him, knocking him off his chair.
With his lip quivering, Tommy got up, sat down and said, "I am sorry I lied. We really watched a tape called Sex Queen."
"I am ashamed of you son," said John. "When I was your age, I never lied to my parents." The robot walked around to John and delivered a whack that nearly knocked him out of his chair.
Marsha doubled over in laughter, almost in tears and said, "Boy, did you ever ask for that one! You can't be too mad with Tommy. After all, he is your son!" The robot walked around to Marsha and knocked her out of her chair.

Who Cares? I'm Going to Williams!
I had many interesting comments on my post about the flying trike. Some thought it was cool, most thought it shouldn't be classified as any kind of motorcycle, and I'd have to agree with that. WillyD wants me to crack the whip on Big D. (Doesn't he know I already do that on a daily basis?)
The absolute best comment was from BB. "Who cares? I'm going to Arizona!" I had to laugh when I read that comment and here's why:
Yesterday, a co-worker of mine was telling me about some all-day meeting we received invitations to attend on next Friday, the 19th. This co-worker started to ramble a bit, so I finally said, "Who cares? I'm going to Williams!"
BB, yes, I can tell you're all excited. I am just as excited if not more. I finally get to meet one of my sisters from another mother! Woo-hoo!!!Some good things are happening for us, lately, and things just seem to be turning around. Finally!
I cannot wait to meet BB, Dave and WillyD! And BTW, WillyD, I'm not sure if Dave told you, but I will be calling you WillyD all weekend. ;)
T-minus 8 days and counting! I cannot wait!

Flying Trike
I saw this article in Biker Information Guide online. The title is Flying Motorcycle to Soar in 2010. But it's not a motorcycle, it's a trike. And IMO, it's not very appealing. I wonder if it will really fly?

Biker/Hillbilly Wedding
Our very good friends Mike & Sarah were married about a month ago. It was a real hillbilly wedding, held out in the desert. The reverend Big D officiated. My darling Vicki was a flower girl.
The reverend, groom, and groomsmen rode down the aisle on motorcycles. The plan was for the bride to ride a horse down the aisle, but that plan was nixed at the last minute.
It was about 108°F that day, and there was little to no shade where the ceremony was held. The reception was held at Sarah's sister's house, and it was really nice. Everyone brought their bathing suits and enjoyed her pool all afternoon. And the beer was flowing. :)
