A Pindow On My Window?

One morning last week while warming up the car to take Vicki to school, we noticed an unusual pattern in the condensation on the window. It looked funny to us, and Vicki said it looked like something from Dr. Seuss, and asked me to take a picture of it. Later that day, we looked online, and we found that it looked most like Yertle the Turtle.

While researching Dr. Seuss online, memories flooded back to me. Do you remember these characters?
  • Horton the Elephant
  • Gertrude McFuzz
  • The Lorax
  • The Grinch & his dog Max
  • Things One and Two
  • Thidwick the Moose

I used to have all the Dr. Seuss books as a child. Vicki had many, but they're long gone now. We used to spend hours reading those books. I think I'm going to buy them for my grandchildren, now.

I was DR. Seuss deprived...I preferred Pokey Little Puppy and Golden Books, in general..DR. Seuss books were too long. I hate reading anything but magazines to this day! My current roster includes:

-Conde Nast Traveler
-Allure
-Vogue
-Domino
-Vanity Fair (my favorite)

Seriously...we get every catalog known to man, too. I usually just throw the catalogs out b/c I have so much other shit to read every month!

I have been instructed by Bryan to give up Vogue, however, because it contributes to self-esteem issues :)

He's crazy.

Jen - glad to see you comment! I agree with Bryan totally, you must give up Vogue. Those airbrushed women are not real!

Kim...I'm with you!

I thought Dr. Seuss was the name of my gynecologist....lol My mother purchased Aesops Fables...probably trying to create a sense of morals....did a pretty good job as I loved those things. I missed the green egg things.....maybe I will read them now....
