Biker/Hillbilly Wedding
Our very good friends Mike & Sarah were married about a month ago. It was a real hillbilly wedding, held out in the desert. The reverend Big D officiated. My darling Vicki was a flower girl.
The reverend, groom, and groomsmen rode down the aisle on motorcycles. The plan was for the bride to ride a horse down the aisle, but that plan was nixed at the last minute.
It was about 108°F that day, and there was little to no shade where the ceremony was held. The reception was held at Sarah's sister's house, and it was really nice. Everyone brought their bathing suits and enjoyed her pool all afternoon. And the beer was flowing. :)

Congrats. I think I'm gonna have a wedding like that next time around.
I'm having a biker wedding for sure....I wonder what I would look like in a leather tux...hmmm...probably a meat gazer..nevermind.
i love when people customize a ceremony to their personalities.
Princess says the pics are great. Gman says his favorite was the one of the 2 people sitting in the chairs. (You know how guys are about weddings...starts young I guess.)
That was great of you to commemorate their wedding on your blog! Thanks for sharing this. I loved riding down the isle!
