Some Randomness
I haven't had a lot of time to post, lately. I've been extremely busy with school, work, etc.
All my hard work paid off, though. I got an A in the first math class I've taken in more than 20 years! I'm still scratching my head over that! That was Algebra I. Last night, I started Algebra II. So for the next 5 weeks I'll be struggling with polynomials and exponents. Yeah, good times.
Road Captain commented on the "My Hometown" post that his parents lived in my hometown, not very far from where I grew up. I wonder if I knew them. Or if my parents did. Small world.
Seems like Joker is too busy to even leave comments for us bloggers, lately. That sucks. I wonder if he's getting ready for his trip to Sturgis? I wonder if he'll comment on this post?
We're getting ready for Too Broke for Sturgis this weekend. We are scheduled to leave Friday at 7:00 a.m. It will be a beautiful ride up north, as we are going the back way, not on I-17. We're lucky enough to be riding with a group that has a chase vehicle and a trailer, so I am bringing our stuff to Linda's house tomorrow night to be loaded into the chase vehicle Friday morning. We'll be partying like rock stars all weekend...I cannot wait! I promise to take plenty of pics.
For those of you that aren't in the know...my 11-year-old daughter took her first cross-country flight by herself last week. She's flown with me and Big D since she was 2, but this is the first time she did it alone. She's visiting her big sister, brother-in-law, and nephew in VA. She was a little nervous, but she did fine. There was a layover, and she actually slept from Detroit to VA! She's been to the beach, they are going to Water Country, and maybe Busch Gardens. She'll be back next week, and I can't wait. I really miss her!
Our kitty, Springer is a noisy little shit. I think he's part Siamese. He meows a lot...and he's LOUD! I also think he's missing Vicki...she's been with him 24/7 since we got him.
Finally, here are some ads I read about online somewhere. The headline was 'Ads the Celebs Don't Want You To See. Some are amusing, others stupid. Enjoy!

Congratulations on getting an A. I know I couldn’t. I hope this doesn’t mean you will start neglecting us!!
Congrats on your A! I barely passed the first math class I took after 4 years with a C - though I did meet the now hubby in that class. Nonetheless, great job!
See you were worried for nothing about that math class. Congratulations on all that hard work!!!!!!
Congrats on your math class.
I hope you guys have a ton of fun at Too Broke, I know you will. Be safe!
I know what you mean about missing the kid. Even though I'm used to Riley being gone, it's never easy. But he'll be home on Sunday! Yea!
I'm sure that Springer is missing Vicki, I think she held him the whole time I was there. :)
Funny ads! Thanks for sharing!
bravo on the A!!! lots of great stuff happening there, very cool to hear it. have a great time on the ride. i cant wait to see pics!!! :) ride safe...
I wish our commercials here in the states were that short!!
Grats on your math class, next one will be just as easy. Have fun up north out of the heat, we used to when we lived there. The ads were great, wish they were as goofy here.
Yay on the A! Math was never my things so I have much respect for you there!
Joker...I'm wondering...I have a feeling he's not going to Sturgis.
Can't wait to hear about the Too Broker for Sturgis Rally! I bet you will have soooooo much fun!
Glad your daughter is having fun! Soaking it up on the beach would rock!
I gotta give you props on your A in algebra. I never could have accomplished this. way to go!
Wecome back!
Congrats for getting an "A"!
"Your... too sexy for your brain!
Too sexy for your brain... oh yeah!"
I miss Joker too... but I'm sure he's got his hands full. Hopefully, he'll be able to grace us with his presence on a regular basis again soon.
Good luck with your next class and have fun at Too Broke! Woo Hoo!
Congrats on the "A"!!! That's awesome!
Raising two girls by myself, I loved being able to ship them off to grandma's in the summer. It gave me some time to recharge. I do understand you missing your daughter though. (You get used to having the little shits around! lol)
Lots of random shit but it's all good. Lets us know what's going on in your life.
Congrats on your "A" In math...well done...! loved that Pachinko run....very big stuff in Japan
I was thinking about Joker earlier tonight also and his lack of comments. I thought it was just on my site. I even thought very briefly about calling him to see how he is doing. I'm sure he does have his hands full.

We probably lived in Brockton back when you lived in Easton. I think I moved to Brockton in summer 1981 and graduated highschool in 1985. Never really moved back after going to college. That's about when my parents escaped Brockton and crossed the line to Easton, probably more accurate to say South Easton but I'm not sure. Close to Stonehill College where my cousin was Dean of Admissions.
I'm not shocked by the grade Ann. You are a pretty intelligent gal from what I can tell. Congrats! You are gonna do what you have set out to do without a doubt. Don't let anyone stop you. Sounds cheesy but seriously...I can't say that about alot of people without feeling like I'm feeding them B.S.
No B.S. for you. I wish I could do the too broke for Sturgis. If is wasn't for B.B.s folks showing up I would be there. I'm still going to get one more big bash in here soon.
Tell your girl that I'm proud of here for taking on the friendly skies on her own.

Ah well, better late than never I guess. Yeah, things have been really busy for me with all the recent changes. I am trying to "catch up" here, but it's hard to find the time to sit here in front of the computer for an hour or more now, where before it seemed I had nothing BUT time.
I am still going to Sturgis, just for the record. I'm definitely not quitting blogging, so I hope you'll all understand why I haven't been around as much as I used to be. Just like Arnold though, "I'll be BACK..."
Glad you are still going to Sturgis Joker and it's good to know you will eventually be back in the bloggin scene again! :)
