In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket. They rattle among the change. My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go. They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole. They give me comfort when I think I am alone. Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there. But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Nice poem.

Now how about laundry instruction to wash out the ones you want to forget, yet keep the ones you treasure?

Too deep and sentimental for me. What's with all the poetry lately? First Big D, Dean, now you. Just kidding. It was cool.

I've got a banana in my pocket. Oh, wait, that's not a banana. Forget it.

I'm a very sentimental person and this describes me to a t!

Once someone makes their way into my heart, they are treasures I hold dear.

Great writing! Thanks for sharing with us. :)
